Accessibility
Automated WCAG 2.2 A and AA tests with axe-core, plus real keyboard testing: tabbing through every page the way someone who cannot use a mouse would.
Free tool
Put in your website address and we will check your pages for the accessibility problems software can find, and measure how fast each one loads. It is free, and the report comes to your inbox.
Start with your address.
On the next page you give us an email address for the report. Automated checks only: this is not a full WCAG audit.
What software can find.
01
Automated WCAG 2.2 A and AA tests with axe-core, plus real keyboard testing: tabbing through every page the way someone who cannot use a mouse would.
02
Whether the page reflows at phone width, survives 200% zoom and wider text spacing, and never hides the keyboard focus.
03
Load times, page weight, images and caching, plus Google Lighthouse on a sample of pages.
04
Broken links, and documents such as PDFs that need checking in their own right.
What still needs a person.
Software can find only some accessibility problems. It cannot tell whether alt text makes sense, whether captions are accurate, whether the reading order is logical, or whether the site works with a screen reader. So a clean result means the automated tests found nothing. It does not mean the site is accessible.
That is what an accessibility audit is for. We test by hand against WCAG 2.2, fix what we find and test again. See accessibility audits and remediation, or read what website accessibility means first.
The ones we get asked.
Yes. There is nothing to pay and no account to create. You give us an email address so we can send the report.
No. Automated tests cover only part of WCAG 2.2. A clean result is a good start, and an accessibility audit by a person is what tells you where the site really stands.
The check page asks you to confirm that OYNK may check the address you give. If you look after the site for someone else, that confirmation is yours to give.
We use it to send the report. The check page links to the privacy notice that says what is kept, and news emails are a separate, optional tick.
