Advice from the people who actually build it.

Architecture, supplier reviews, accessibility and sustainability strategy. Sometimes the answer is not to hire us for the build.

What you get

Most digital advice is written by people who will not have to live with it.

We are on the hook for everything we have built and still run, which is a different kind of advice from a slide deck. If you need a decision reviewed rather than a project delivered, that is what this is.

01

Architecture and technology choices

What to build it in, what to buy instead, and what the thing you already have is actually costing you to keep.

02

Supplier and agency reviews

A read on the work someone else is doing or quoting for. We will tell you when it is fine, which is more often than you would expect.

03

Accessibility strategy

What WCAG 2.2 means for your organisation in practice, what to fix first, and what the legal exposure actually is rather than what a compliance vendor says it is.

04

Sustainability and reporting

Digital emissions measured rather than estimated, and what stands up when someone asks how the number was arrived at.

05

Second opinions

A build you are unsure about, a quote that seems high or low, a platform decision nobody wants to own. Half a day is usually enough.

Questions

The ones we get asked.

Do I have to use you for the build afterwards?

No, and we would rather you did not feel you had to. A recommendation you can only act on by hiring us is a sales document, not advice.

What does it cost?

Day rate, or a fixed price for a defined question. Tell us what the decision is and we will tell you what it takes to answer it properly.

Will you tell us not to rebuild?

Often. Most sites we look at need work rather than replacing, and saying so is the quickest way to be worth talking to again.

Who actually does it?

The people who build. There is no separate consulting team here, which is the whole point of it.

Get started

Tell us what the decision is.

Half an hour, no deck. Describe what you are trying to decide and we will tell you whether it needs half a day or a longer look — and whether we are the right people.
