A small studio that builds and then stays.
Founded in July 2024, in Northamptonshire. Products we built still running in production, and clients who get the person who wrote the code.
Who we are
We are deliberately small.
There is no account layer here. The people you talk to on the discovery call are the people who write your code, which is why we take on fewer projects than we could and why nothing gets briefed through a middleman.
OYNK was founded in July 2024 by Ashley John. It started as a consultancy that measured other people’s websites, and it became an agency because measuring the problem is less useful than fixing it.
Along the way we have graded over 500 websites. That is not the business any more, but it is the reason we know what slows a site down and what breaks it in year three.
OYNK is run by Ashley, working with two independent associates. The team page says who does what, and which parts of your project each person is actually on.
Now we build. Websites, web applications, booking systems, internal tools. Some for clients, and some we still run ourselves — which is the reason we know what we are asking you to trust us with.

We build it, and then we live with it.

We write every line
No theme, no page builder, no plugin stack. That is slower on day one and much cheaper in year two, when there is nothing to break and nothing that expired.

You can leave whenever you like
The code is yours, it is documented, and it runs on ordinary hosting. We would rather you stayed because it is working than because you are stuck.

We publish the numbers
Every build gets scored on performance, experience, emissions and ranking, and the score goes where you can see it. Ours currently reads 97 A+ (PEER-2026-721-v7, 15 Sep 2026).
