How much does a hand-coded website cost?
From £2,500. Most sit between £4,000 and £12,000 depending on how many templates there are and what has to run behind them. Larger rebuilds go to around £30,000.
How long does it take?
Four to twelve weeks depending on scope. You get a real timeline before anything starts.
Can you keep our existing design?
Yes. Plenty of our work is a rebuild that keeps the brand and throws away everything underneath it. Same site to look at, none of the problems.
Do you use WordPress?
Only when there is a reason to — usually because a team already knows it and needs to edit content daily. The Beanz Barn booking system is a WordPress plugin we wrote. Most of the time a hand-coded site is faster and cheaper to keep.
Who owns the code?
You do, on handover, along with the documentation. It runs on ordinary hosting.
