How We Do Business
We measure ourselves across five areas: governance, people, community, environment, and the people we serve. Not because a framework told us to — because it matters.
A neurodivergent-led studio
OYNK is founded and led by someone who is autistic and ADHD. That shapes everything — from how we work, to who we hire, to what we build.
We know that talent doesn't come in a standard package. Some of the best engineers, designers, and thinkers work differently. We build a working environment where that's not accommodated — it's expected.
Inclusion isn't a policy here. It's the foundation.
Governance
How we run the business
- Founder-led with full decision-making transparency
- All environmental and social claims are evidence-based and verifiable
- No offsets, no greenwashing — practical reduction only
- Financial decisions weighed against social and environmental impact
Workers
How we treat people
- Fair pay above industry average as standard, not a perk
- Flexible, remote-first working built around people, not policy
- Neurodivergent-led — we understand that good work doesn't always look the same
- Commitment to hiring from all backgrounds and abilities
Community
How we contribute
- Friend of Cafe Track — supporting autistic people into confidence and real work skills
- Pro-bono and reduced-rate work for organisations creating social impact
- Knowledge shared openly through insights, whitepapers, and free tools
- Active participation in the digital sustainability community
Environment
How we build
- Average page weight under 200KB — versus UK average of 4MB
- Green Web Foundation verified hosting infrastructure
- Sub-1 second server response as an engineering standard
- No unnecessary third-party scripts, trackers, or bloat
Customers
How we serve
- WCAG 2.2 AAA conformance across all pages
- Privacy-first analytics with no marketing cookies
- No dark patterns, manipulative design, or deceptive UX
- Transparent pricing and honest project scoping
Cafe Track
We're proud to be a Friend of Cafe Track — a cafe that gives autistic people a place to build confidence, develop real work skills, and find their footing in a working environment that understands them.
Their work matters to us personally, not just professionally. Supporting people into meaningful work — especially people who are often overlooked — is something we believe every business should care about.
